This festive swirly paint is made very much like a traditional bath paint only with the added element of scent!

To make Candy Cane Paint you will need:

~  Shaving Cream
~  Red food coloring
~  Peppermint extract
~  A stir stick

Fill a bowl or similar container with shaving cream.  Add a few drops of peppermint extract and red food coloring and gently stir, making a swirled candy cane design.

We have been having so much fun with this paint in the bath; we have already made it a few times!
Bath time fun- Christmas bath

Note- shaving cream DOES NOT taste good.  We play with it often and all it took was one taste that first playtime for my girls to learn not to eat it.  If your child does happen to taste this, it will only be a taste.  If you are still concerned or you have a little one who loves putting materials in their mouth, you can use whipped cream instead!

This paint isn't just for bath time either!  We have been coming up with all sorts of ways to use this homemade candy cane paint!

This marbled candy cane garland is one of our favorites so far!
